Female Support Worker – Sleepover Shifts (9:00 PM – 9:00 AM)

We are seeking Female Support Workers to provide overnight sleepover support for a participant. Shifts are available 7 days a week.

• Hours: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM

• Availability: 7 days per week

• Location: Lalor Victoria

Participant Overview
The participant is a pleasant lady who enjoys rock music and cats. She is legally blind, diabetic, and assessed as a high falls risk with limited mobility.

Support Requirements
The Support Worker will assist with all daily living tasks, including:

• Personal care and hygiene

• Toileting support using a commode

• Overnight supervision and safety monitoring

• Mobility assistance and falls prevention

Communication & Documentation

• The Support Worker must listen carefully to all instructions provided during handover.

• All charts and required documentation must be completed accurately before the end of the shift.

• The participant prefers not to repeat instructions; attentive listening and clear understanding are essential to avoid frustration.

Essential Requirements

• Female Support Worker only

• Fluent spoken English

• Experience supporting participants with vision impairment, diabetes, and high falls risk

• Patient, respectful, and reliable communication style

• Minimum Certificate III
• NDIS Worker's Screening Check
• Evidence of Completed NDIS Orientation Module 
• Manual Handling Certificate 
• 6 months experience
